The Spark Arena holds a steady reputation for one of the best venues to experience live events in the entirety of New Zealand. One of the reasons for this is it’s conditions of entry that have been set in place to ensure that each and every person not only has a positive and memorable time at Spark Arena, but also without any disruption to their experience.

To keep everyone’s safety and comfort first, please check the restrictions below which must be followed and carried out at all times.

Please note Spark Arena reserves the right to inspect any of it’s visitors bags or articles of clothing as well as the right to ask a patron to leave if the below conditions are not met.

SAFETY CONDITIONS

The Spark Arena staff will do their best to give clear instructions to every guest, please obey these instructions from the uniformed staff at all times during your visit.
For events that allow under 15s into the venue, please note children under the age of 14 must be supervised at all times by an adult (18+).
If you wish to be served alcohol at Spark Arena, you must show an accepted form of valid ID to the bar staff; A valid Passport, New Zealand Drivers License or a valid Kiwi Access/HANZ/Hospitality NZ 18+ card will be accepted.
CCTV cameras have been put in place across the premises to ensure safety within the venue, the rights to all photos and footage taken is only for Spark Arena.
Once your ticket booking is complete and you have selected your chosen seat, you must use your seat only. Seat bookings are detailed on your ticket, both in online format and physical. With the seating in mind, please do not enter a restricted area within the venue during your time at Spark Arena
Climbing on barricades and crowd surfing are not permitted.
Shoes must be worn at all times.

ALLOWED ITEMS

You may bring your personal items to Spark Arena including coats, bags, small umbrellas etc as long as they can easily be stored under your seat during the event.
If you choose to bring with you personal items please do take responsibility for your posessions. If for any reason you loose an item, you can contact the lost property and retrieve it. The Spark Arena staff will do their best to keep hold of items, however the venue is not liable for loss or damage along the way.
Mobile phones are permitted, but please do be mindful during an event so that guests are not disturbed during their experience also.
Pets are not allowed aside from the allowance of registered Guide Dogs and mobility equipment.

NON ALLOWED ITEMS (Please do not bring)

Food and drinks will be served on the premises, please do not bring any of your own into the venue.
Alcohol will only be served inside the venue.
Single use plastic is never permitted at the Spark Arena, certain reusable bottles are permitted.
Any other electrical items such as iPads, tablets and laptops are not allowed.
Any dangerous items such as firearms, weapons of any kind, fireworks, flares and lasers are strictly prohibitted.
Smoking or Vaping anywhere inside the venue is not allowed.
Illegal substances are not allowed and if found on person they will be taken away and Spark Arena holds the right to ask the person to leave.
No professional cameras or recording equipment is allowed at Spark Arena, however this may change from event to event so please do check before attending.
Along with cameras, selfie sticks, Go-Pros etc are also prohibitted.
